For Schools
Give Your Students a Verified Leadership Record, Not Just a Trip
Impact OG partners with schools to run CAS-mapped, safety-documented service trips your administration can stand behind — and your students can put on a university application.
Book a 15-Minute Info CallWhy Two Programs, Not One
Different students are ready for different things. Here's how the two programs split.
| Criteria | Future Leaders Program | CAS Program |
|---|---|---|
| Age Range | Ages 14–18 | Ages 12–18 |
| Season | Summer | School Year |
| Entry | Application required | Open enrollment |
| Best For | Highly motivated students ready for an intensive, application-only summer trip — schools wanting a flagship leadership credential to point to. | Students building CAS hours steadily across the school year — schools wanting a lower-barrier, recurring option open to more of the student body. |
| CAS Hours | Roughly 60–100+ hours per trip, depending on length. | Roughly 8–25 hours per trip, depending on format — accumulating across the year. |
Trust & Safety Requirements
Staff-to-student ratio is 1:7 for ages 12–13 and 1:10 for ages 14–18, confirmed for on-site activities.
- A named on-site lead per trip, introduced to the school before departure, with a direct line for anything urgent.
- A documented safeguarding policy shared with the school before departure.
- A written medical protocol and nearest-facility mapping for every destination.
- Same-day updates go to school administrators, not just parents.
CAS Mapping
Every program's trips run across the same four pillars, each mapped to all three CAS pillars — see the full Creativity / Activity / Service breakdown on the CAS Verified page.
Every trip's activities are logged against Creativity, Activity, and Service as they happen, signed off by the on-site lead, and closed out with a written reflection. Schools receive a CAS Verified summary per trip — the hours, the strand breakdown, and a short activity description — ready for your CAS coordinator to review and file.
How We Vet Service Partners
Every community partner is chosen on capacity for the requested trip dates, the ability to give students genuine hands-on involvement in real work, and a secure, comfortable environment for the group. Local freelance staff and suppliers are used wherever possible.
Impact OG does not run orphanage visits or short-term orphanage volunteering of any kind — every placement is with a school, family, or community organization the group can actually contribute to over the course of the trip. Every trip runs with a minimum group size of 25 students, so a partner can commit real time and a real project rather than improvising something for a handful of visitors.
