Luxor
Ancient monuments by day, hands-on service in local schools by afternoon.
Why Luxor
Luxor is Egypt's open-air museum — the Valley of the Kings, Karnak Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon are all a short drive from where students stay. Mornings pair a guided visit to one of these sites with a discussion of what it actually took to build and preserve them; afternoons shift to hands-on service in a local school — classroom refresh projects, English-practice sessions, or a sports afternoon with the students there. Evenings are spent as a group reflecting on how a place this old still functions as a living, working city today.
