Why Nubian Village
This is Impact OG's most immersive Egypt stop: students live directly with a Nubian family on the Nile rather than staying in a hotel nearby. Days are built around the host community — helping with a house-painting or restoration project (Nubian homes are known for their bright, geometric murals), cooking a meal together, learning a few words of the Nubian language, and hearing family histories that stretch back to before the Aswan Dam relocations. It's paired closely with Aswan on most itineraries, but where Aswan is site-based, the Nubian Village is relationship-based — the service is the visit, not an add-on to it.
