Belgium pairs two very different cities in a few days: Bruges, a medieval town of canals and cobblestones where the day includes a canal boat ride and the climb up the historic Belfry tower, and Brussels, home to the city's famous comic-strip murals and a hands-on chocolate-making workshop with a local chocolatier. It's a lighter, more design-and-craft-focused stop than the program's history-heavy destinations — a look at how a small country builds an outsized cultural identity around craft, art, and food.
